‘Together We Thrive’ pairs the mission of developing at-risk, homeless and foster youth with the passion of tennis across the greater Dallas area.
In its 3rd year, ‘Playing for a Purpose’ 2019 sold out within hours of opening registration. Women of all levels gathered to compete on the courts of Lifetime Plano while raising awareness and dollars for youth in need.
“It’s truly the one tennis tournament in Dallas I won’t miss. While the competition is fierce and the player gift bags are a big draw, it is the youth we’re playing for that are the ones that ultimately benefit from this annual event.” The revenue from ‘Playing for a Purpose’ goes directly to fund Life Coaches who are working one-on-one with these youth in public schools, transitional homes or wherever we find these youth trying to navigate life on their own.
